They happen to broadcast their music from a 2CV car, which they then use as a mobile amplifier. A concrete broadcast open to all that enters the intimacy of music : sounds, conversations, unidentified sound objects… A practical experience that, from Luc Ferrari to Robin Rimbaud, has not stopped gaining new followers.

From one project to the other, les hauts de plafond are bent on broadcasting in the familiar environment of their flat : furnishing, daily life objects, on/off stage sound installation, video are part of their intervention, that they easily call 'cinéma pour l'oreille' (" cinema for the hear ") between hörspiel and home music.

A quoi ce duo pensa-t-il quand il décida de son nom ? à prendre gentiment de la hauteur par rapport aux chapelles musicales ? Au fou suspendu à son pinceau ? Aux araignées ? Aux lustres et moulures aristocratiques ?
Ce qui est sûr, c’est que l’univers musical des Hauts de Plafond est joliment décalé.
